Position Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for making repair estimates and accurate time-lines for completion of repairs, communicating with customers regarding repair process and delivery, coordinating with insurance carriers and shop technicians to assure that repairs performed are in line with estimates made and time-lines specified for completion.
Duties and Responsibilities
Greet customer promptly and in a timely manner and determine customer's needs accurately and ensuring a high degree of customer service.
Immediately document and photograph towed vehicles for existing damages and personal items.
Relay accurate customer concerns and comprehensive description concerns.
Maintain and document constant communication with customers regarding the repair process and document files.
Coordinate work performed on customer's vehicles with production staff.
Ensure that repairs performed on customer's vehicles are accurate and consistent with estimates made.
Be available during customer delivery times to answer customer questions, explain additional repairs needed, and make subsequent appointments.
Accomplishes all current and future tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
Maintain current awareness of the requirements of state and federal laws dealing with automobile repair and all Bureau of Automotive Repair requirements.
Adhere to all policies regarding the initial inspection, documentation, proper TIS and manufacturer procedures including insurance, customer notifications for revised repair orders and all supplements and file notes.
Adhere to work schedule and arrive at work before your scheduled start time and be at your work station productively engaged by the scheduled time.
Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policy.
Complies with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety and personal protection equipment as required.
Adhere to established dress code policy at all times.
Other related duties as may be assigned.

Includes advanced level abilities to: respond effectively to common inquiries or complaints from customers, insurance agencies, service technicians; and, effectively present information to top management and customers.
Reasoning Skills:
Must include an advanced ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables is also required.

Includes an advanced ability to supervise work within the assigned department(s). Those abilities include: making recommendation on hiring and disciplinary actions and directly managing a department's strategic work objectives; resolving complex personnel and operational problems; and, evaluating program/work objectives and effectiveness and reassigning work as required.

Includes an intermediate ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry to meet businesses needs is required.
Computer Skills:
Includes an intermediate level and include the use and knowledge of integrated computer systems and business-related software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Explorer, Shelly Automotive and Compli. Dealer Management System and Manufacturer Software Platform, ABS Mitchell Management, Ultimate, Pathwaws, Shoplink, BMW TIS systems.

Possess and maintain a valid California Driver's license.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum Results Required
Must maintain an individual average of $150,000.00 in closed sales per month on a 3 month rolling average.
Overall maintain an eighty five percent (85%) or better closing ratio for all walk-in customers on a 3 month rolling average.
Must have estimates written within a 48 hour time frame (2) business days after vehicle is torn down for inspection.
Must maintain a 85% or better NPS score on a quarterly basis.
Maintain set monthly goals of labor, parts, sublet, up sells, details and CS!.
Modify customers of vehicle condition with 4 hours of arrival to shop.
Close repair orders no later than 24hrs after vehicle has left.
Ensure all Body Shop estimates are accurately written.
Maintain training status by keeping up with factory recommended classes.
Facility required training (Compli).
Must maintain a valid California driver's license that is insurable at all times.
Maintain a positive and welcoming relationship with both staff and clients at all times.
Educational Requirements
The minimum educational requirement to successfully perform the duties required of this position is technical education or job knowledge equivalent lo two (2) year college or trade school and three to five years of relevant work experience.
Experience Requirements
The minimum experience requirement to successfully perform the duties required of this position is two to five years.
Physical/Weight Requirements
An Estimator should be able to comfortably stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, reach, grasp, talk, hear, see, distinguish color and have regular attendance to perform their assigned work. They will also be required to be able to use hands and fingers. If an employee is asked to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds the employee must use approved safety techniques and when lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people to lift the load. Where requested and otherwise appropriate, reasonable accommodation will be provided in the absence of any of these abilities.
Work Environment
An employee in this position will be required to work in the following environments: standard office, equipment and machinery and outdoor weather conditions. The noise level will be moderate.
